Whale Watching

Grey Whales and Humpback Whales mate and give birth in warmer southern waters over the winter and migrate north to feed in the nutrient rich waters off the coast of British Columbia. They begin their migration north in March remaining in these waters for months. In October they head south again meaning the Whales are plentiful throughout the months of March through to October.

Killer Whales are often spotted off the coast and are a thrill to observe as they glide by with their distinctive dorsal fin.
